She'd known this moment would come and this would happen. Sam must have known, too; then, if not just now, so she must have thought about it in the meantime and of course she would, this is, was, Sam.

They all looked exactly like they had, but so much more...more vibrant than she'd seen them then. Oh, this is making her head spin, despite the forewarning, that's why she's crying. Yes. Pulled in too many directions.

Sniffling some, safe because this facility hasn't seen that many people in years, Cassandra hugs herself, holding Sam's warmth around her for another moment.
